part of why people are able to grow here at the firm it has to do with the type of people that we attract which are the type of people that take a vested interest in developing talent we aren't just focusing on winning individually we're focus on winning as a firm that means bringing up talent from a young age giving young people responsibility early on and allowing them to grow listen mentorship is a key component of life at Blackstone I've taken a very specific and engaged interests in people not only people on my team but people across the firm I know Olivia and I spend a lot of time together I'd like to think I'm a mentor to her in a lot of ways I think that's what makes Blackstone or what it is the fact that you can has the question to a colleague you're gonna be there they're gonna be supportive and they're gonna help you figure things out it doesn't have to be within your group you can go to CJ you can go to Olivia and get the expertise that you need because it's within your own building you almost have this expectation at the firm that if someone reaches out to you via email or they leave you a voicemail you're sort of meant to call them back pretty quickly and what that means is that you have access to really smart people who are gonna be super responsive and it's really satisfying when the ultimate success you have is shared in terms of your own satisfaction of fulfillment and a job that is something that this front continues to encourage because it leads the best outcomes for LPS and our clients
