Google Scholar Finding Full Text

Google Scholar Finding Full Text

Google Scholar is a popular (and free) database of scholarly literature. It’s easy to search, but it’s not always
easy to access the full text of articles you find. Did you know that many of them may be available to you through Briggs Library? And you don’t need to search for each one through the Library’s website. By changing one setting, you can link Google
Scholar to the Library’s subscriptions. From Google Scholar’s main search page,
click on ‘Settings’ at the top of the page, and then click on ‘Library Links’
in the left-hand menu. Begin typing ‘South Dakota State University’
and click on the search button. Check the box next to SDSU and then click
on save. Now when you search for articles, you will
see a ‘Find it @ SDSU’ link next to ones not freely available online. Click on this link to see whether Briggs Library
has it, and if so, download it. As always, let us know if you have any questions.
