John Molson School of Business – Building Tour

Bienvenue à l’école de
gestion John Molson. Did you know one of the world’s largest
business schools is located right here in the heart of downtown Montreal? And Montreal is one of Canada’s largest
business hubs as well as its second-largest city. Being in the downtown core of a major
North American city provides students with amazing opportunities and lets them
build professional connections with employers, industry professionals
and key industry players. Professors here bring real issues from
industry to class to help students develop the professional skills
that employers want and that will help them become
tomorrow’s business leaders. That’s right. And learning doesn’t
only happen in the classroom, but in real, hands-on environments
through co-op, case competitions, international exchange, and other options. This LEED certified building is
the John Molson School of Business which opened in 2009. It’s bright,
has open beautiful study spaces, modern classrooms as well as designated
spaces for student clubs and organizations. These spaces also host multiple
events throughout the year, from recruitment cocktails to research
expositions and plenty more. On the 9th floor is
Concordia’s conference centre. The conference centre hosts fairs, meetings and presentations by guest
lecturers from all over the world. This floor also has our PhD student offices… the only dedicated PhD space in the city! Finance and MBA in Investment
Management students have the tools, specialized software and equipment they
need to learn the skills that they’ll use upon graduation. Here, students are connected with amazing
industry work opportunities to get the skills that employers are looking for. Our Career Management Services
office oversees career fairs, employer info sessions, CV reviews, and mock interviews year round to help
our graduates put their degrees to work! In addition, students in the bachelors and masters
degrees have opportunities to do paid internships during their studies
through the Co-op program. Try out a new industry, make
professional connections, and more! Another advantage of being
in downtown Montreal: not only is the School
connected to business leaders, industries and organizations
from around the world, but it is also directly linked
to Montreal’s Metro system. The John Molson School of Business offers
amazing opportunities for students at all levels to learn through cases and
applied learning, with so many great ways to kick-start their, or
should I say your, career. For more information,
